The Battle Droid is a mass-produced combat unit integral to the Separatist Droid Army in the Star Wars galaxy.

These droids are primarily manufactured by the Baktoid Combat Automata corporation and serve as the backbone of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' military force during the Clone Wars. Known for their often clumsy movement and somewhat cowardly tendencies, Battle Droids are nevertheless deployed in vast numbers to overwhelm opponents. Their efficiency lies in their sheer quantity rather than individual skill.

Battle Droids like the version, , G0111, typically followed commands issued by command droids or organic leaders, contributing to a highly automated and coordinated war effort for the Separatists.

The Battle Droid makes its first full on-screen appearance in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace movie.
